Unless I'm very much mistaken, dual beam kits are H4, therefore won't fit your car, which needs separate bulbs for main and dip...........a far better solution, if a tad more expensive

9005/HB3 for main beam.

Dual beam are H4 (classic) fitment only.

They are independent from one another, so you wont lose main beam if you only do the dipped beam.

When you say you don't have the main beam - do you mean in HID or at all?

Default they arrived quick

hi all...

big thanks bob the units have arrived....mega quick....just 1 quick and i hope not daft question...i have the prodrive headlights as you know with all the wiring in the box can i just use the plug and play option for the dipped beam as i thought the relay and fuses already used for the lights in the car would be enough protection.....or do i have to fit all the relay fuse and other wiring in the box....forgive me as i'm not up to speed with car electrics........ps will order 2nd set for the main beam shortly...

Hi,

Glad you received them in good time

The wiring harness and relay are optional, but recommended. It will only take an additional 5 mins to do.

They will also work as plug and play.

Quick pic of the new SuperSlim ballast next to the standard one:

New single beam kits weigh just 0.68kg vs 1.38kg of the old ones. That's including ballasts, wires, bulbs, fittings, instructions (everything minus packaging).

Now in stock.

Granby: Yes, the technology itself is different. The ballasts are interchangeable with the old kit though.

Where did you buy them from?

HID fitment to dipped beam should not affect main beam.

Your supplier should be able to go through it with you.

Your kit will be plug & play. There are only two ways of connecting the wires to the OE wires. If it doesn't work one way, try the other. The wiring on the blobeyes can sometimes be the wrong way around.

Here is a guide to fitting on a bugeye, but it is for the old kit - the new one is much easier to fit
