Default 05 tails lights into a hawkeye?

can you swap hawkeye tail lights with 05 sti ones and do they plug straight in? i have the fog light on right hand side wana no if it causes any issues?

i have hawkeye tail lights for sale also...

Yep direct replacement they are plug and play

Yep. Undo the four bolts then just unplug the connecter and plug in new ones. 10 minute jobbie... fitted some 05 wrx ones to my hawkeye... looks much better imo

This seems like a very popular mod on hawkeyes. i prefer blobeye lights to mine as well. how easy is the wiring because it seems like the indicators are in different positions on the hawkeye and blobeye lights.

It's plug and play! Trust me takes a few seconds to unplug the white connector from the hawkeye lights, then plug in the connector from the blobeye lights. Doesn't matter that the indicators are in different positions.

Thanks. Where is the best place to get a set. Looked on ebay but none.

I got mine by posting it in the "wanted" section. Best thing is I didn't have to pay for mine as I did a straight swap with a guy who had a blobeye. So may be worth starting a new "wanted" thread.

Failing that, you could try Jap Performance Parts : Home or buy direct from Subaru (though may be expensive!). Keep an eye out on ebay though, as some do pop up from time to time.
