Went and got some Silver side indicator bulbs from scoobyparts for a 05 STI to replace the Orange ones.
When I took the unit out the whole thing comes out.
Can you open the unit and change the bulbs or does it need a new unit with bulbs already in.
Dont want to open the unit as it looks sealed and its not designed to open.

Normally its an after market unit with bulb holders fitted and spliced into the OEM wiring.

you can't change the bulb on its own i just bought some crystal style side lights that comes with 501 holders off ebay

dont know about your model, but on mine 2004 sti to seperate the front clear part of the light from the rear part, i took all the fixings off and put it in the oven for 15 mins @ 200f and it then pulls apart.

cheers for the advice mate but my cooking skills are shocking. I can just about do beans on toast let alone side indicators.
