The backlights in the dash and clocks are not working….
I’ve looked at the fuse and this seems OK.
Can’t believe that all the bulbs have gone….
As all of the lights are out (apart from clock and mileometer) is there a change I’ve knocked anything in the centre console whilst sorting out the stereo?
Any help gratefully received

Don't know if your's is the same, but on my Forester, the dash lighting brightness is controlled by a twist collar on the light stalk.

same thing happend on my 93 wrx while i installed the stereo,but i also lost front fogs & back light on my boost gauge

stil not found out what it is & i've had most the dash out

i had this problem on my 93 wrx when i changed the stereo it looks like subaru use a very "indavidual" (shall we say) way of controlling stereo illumination i allso lost side lights as well the only thing i can recomend is putting std head unit back in or try useing a proper subaru loom to iso plug connector !? hope this helps

same thing on my02 wrx, cant seem to get to the bottom of it, any help would be appreciated.

i think it's stereo related,as playing around with mine yesterday & put headlights on & it turned stereo off

i have the correct iso connectors....it must be something to do with the stereo illunination interferering with dash,but it's not the wire for stereo illumination as swapped it over as you need to do sometimes but stil the same

it is stereo related i have same problem only i have losed dash fog and heater panel aswell
