stebel compact horn fitting advise to classic

decided to upgrade my horn,as anybody done the same to a classic.
what i was thinking on doing is to replace the horn behind the front grill using the existing wires will this be ok? also will it be ok to leave the other horn by the washer bottle connected?

did you need to use the relay supplied with the stebel horn,or is there no need.

Use the relay. The OE wiring is far too thin and the Stobel takes much more current than the standard horn.
You can get a Stobel to fit behind a Classic grill but it's very tight so be prepared for a lot of fiddling to get it right especially if you have air con. If you haven't, there's more space so should be easier.

I decided to replace the poor excuse for a horn with a pair of Hella Supertones. Bit extreme, but atleast people get out of my way, not that I abuse them at all

Fitted mine to a chassis hole via a small bracket (B&Q) and secured with cable ties (not really needed tbh).

decided on the stebel horn as it's a twin airhorn at 139db
