decided to upgrade my horn,as anybody done the same to a classic.
what i was thinking on doing is to replace the horn behind the front grill using the existing wires will this be ok? also will it be ok to leave the other horn by the washer bottle connected?

Use the relay. The OE wiring is far too thin and the Stobel takes much more current than the standard horn.
You can get a Stobel to fit behind a Classic grill but it's very tight so be prepared for a lot of fiddling to get it right especially if you have air con. If you haven't, there's more space so should be easier.

I decided to replace the poor excuse for a horn with a pair of Hella Supertones. Bit extreme, but atleast people get out of my way, not that I abuse them at all

Sounds fine, just plug it straight in !

Fitted mine to a chassis hole via a small bracket (B&Q) and secured with cable ties (not really needed tbh).
