They are a current design, so any Hella dealer ought to be able to supply.
They are also available from Scoob dealers and some aftermarket tuners as part of a kit.
Demon Tweeks may sell them, or you could try Googling "buy Hella 1000FF", or even e-bay.
The backs of the lamps differ in halogen and HID apparently

The only place I have seen that sells these are Demon Tweeks

Thanks lads. I did google them and only got one uk supplier, who doesn't do mail order. Demon tweeks only have the HID ones which are over my budget. I'll try the dealer route as I can't find Hella dealers here in Ireland (according to the Hella website)

P.S. cos they can be fitted with a cheap H1 HID kit and you can see ! ideal for classics with poor headlights, and bug-eyes with 400 bhp....

Not at £195 all in, when Demon Tweeks sell the HID version for over £400 EACH
Edited to say: saw a trucker this morning on the M180 with SIX Hella HID Luminators across the top.......they are even bigger than the 1000FF, and yes, you can tell if they are HID as they have a red bezel unlike the halogen ones which are black.

The original Scoobysport kits with HID were delivered with the red bezels sprayed black.
I knew someone who spent an hour with some thinners putting them back to red

Ordered the lights a couple of days ago. Package arrived in dealers yesterday. We were both expecting two lamps. Only one comes with the above kit (£195). On closer inspection it does say driving lamp kit (presumably being singular). Only problem now is the second light is not shown as being immediately available so its on back order and of course I've got a 100% increase in price.

Firstly, that's a HELL of a price for one lamp, kit or no, and secondly, the original Prodrive kit had both lamps for not much more money.

No decent camera Charlie, but with HID's in they are as better than anything I've ever owned, Cibie,PIAA included. Also thinking of a blue accent across the front of the car (black) to continue down the side.

Just to be sure lads. If I want to upgrade these to HID am I correct in saying there is a bit of surgery required on the back of the lamp housing?
Tanyatriangles as I had ordered the bits over the phone with the part number the dealer wasn't very sympathetic with me trying to hand them back. I had already paid for them so am stuck. TBH I have been watching these for a long time and knew they were about £400 a couple of years ago. I just thought they had come down in price. Anyway it has forced my hand as I had to take the Oscar +s off as they were rotten about 6 months ago.

IIRC, the bulb holders, (well, the covers for them), for the HID ones are black ABS and stick out about 30mm, maybe more, behind the lamp housing.
I was of the impression that the halogen ones were H3, but others seem to say H1. I can no longer find reference to the 1000FF on the Hella site, so can't say.
You might need a separate bulb holder, cover etc.
You MAY be able to get the bits from Hella, but maybe not. Tried actually ringing them and asking? I don't mean a dealer, I mean Hella UK?

The site seems a bit amateur, but they do deliver, and have a good reputation in the USA.
There is a bit of work getting them to fit (I bought a HID kit with really small bulb holders), enlarging the hole in the back a bit was enough.
Seeing the factory hole in them isn't closed also, making it a big bigger shouldn't be a problem.
Had them for 3 years now, linked to the high beems, and tho it's bad for HID's to get flashed, they still work.
Car is lowered on still Coilover's, sees the Ring, so they do take a beating.
Then swap in a cheap HID kit and voila near factory FF1000 HID performance for less then half the price.
