Does the headlight need to be popped out to access the sidelight bulb on a JDM STI MY04. I've had a quick look but can't see any way of getting to it from behind the headlight. Thanks in advance.

Yes you have to remove the headlight.

And its a complete bitch to do!

Handbook says remove the grill and loosen the four black fixings that hold the bumper on too and pull the light towards you. Thats great if you have the fingers of a rock climber!

It's not that hard, 10 mins a side tops. Search for a how to on detangoing 03 headlights if you want full instructions. May as well get rid of the orange and do the black light mod whilst you've got them out

Thanks madisonmonkey, the lights are de-tangoed as standard but the black light mod looks tempting.
