Hi all, i have a problem with my drivers side headlight. When on, its not very bright. I have changed the buld but it made no difference.

Has anyone any ideas what it maybe? Please be aware, i am a biff when it comes to electrics....

Sounds like either a poor connection somewhere, or a poor earth rteturn path.

I'd be looking at the headlight connector for signs of corrosion, then tracing wires back to find the corroded/poor connector.

BTW: is it the same on main beam and dip, or brighter on one than on the other?

If it's both, I'd defo suspect the earth.

i had this problem ive just sorted it today

it was the connecter on the back of the bulb

fitted a new 1 an its fine now

Cheers for the replys, could well be the connector as all the rubber protectors are missing. Will change that first and hopfully that will fix it!
