MY02 Key fob question
I have a 2002 STi with the separate Subaru key fob. Its the small blue fob with the single button on it.
I have a feeling the battery is running out as I have to press it a few times to get it to work now.
So the question..... If I take the battery out to change it do I have a time limit? will it need re programing?
Does anyone know what battery it takes?
Thanks for your help in advance

Shouldn't be a time limit, as it's only connected and sends a signal when you press the button.
It could be the battery, or it could be the button not making good contact. Can you get it apart? Check the button first, bend contacts gently if necessary.
Then take it to a battery dealer for a new one if no result.
