Default Bugeye STi Headlights Cloudy effect *Not misting up*

Has anyone experienced any probs with their STI bugeye headlights seeming to go cloudy around the edges on the OUTSIDE casing of the headlamps?

It's not on the inside, when i was the car and wet the headlights the go clear but as they dry naturally the appear clousy around the edges of this makes sense??

Thanks
Ben

You tried cleaning them with a specialist hard plastic cleaner not glass could be wax from the bodywork?

i heard a good trick of putting a silica thigny on a bit of string, and leaving it in the headlight for a bit.

Is it lots of small chips in the plastic ?

A good plastic polish could help

I have exactly the same problem with my bugeye STI headlights. At a loss. Will get pics too and await all suggestions.

Truck wash will do that to plastic headlights if sprayed onto the car undiluted, have you had it washed at some point?
Take it to a body shop they may be able to polish it out.
