What are standard bugeye headlamps like for range and spread. My car is fitted with a Prodrive/hella conversion (3 lights) but I am trying to get the car back to standard. The Prodrive lights are very good on dip and ok on main beam so I do not want to go backwards in the lighting department. Would an upgrade in bulbs make the standard lights better. If so any recomendations.

HID kit, yes technically illegal, but in reality less bad than a RangeRover or Landcruiser with them as standard.
4300 K for main and dip, 6000 K and above produce more blue light, this is scattered in misty/murky conditions. Spooky but not life threatening IMHO
