Default Meshing Classic morettes

I see people have meshed their morettes for an air intake, or just from them rusting away.
I want to do it temporarily until I get replacement lenses.

So how do you do it?

Mesh the back of the casing?

I would, hold it on with some Carafax, it will all come away if/when you get a new lens.
