Just a quick question ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Was there an alarm or immobiliser on the early classics?
Mine is a MY96, pre-facelift and im trying to fit a new alarm to it. The aftermarket one it came with wasnt working when i got it, just the central locking.
Ive read through the manual and it says nothing about an alarm or immobiliser being fitted from the factory, just central locking.
Is there a chip inside the key to link with the ECU for example?
Any advice would be great, or any links where i could find the electrical diagrams for the car
