Default Roadangel wiring help

I wanna hard wire it in to either my cig lighter or the clock, what wires go were etc

If i cut the road angel wire will there just be a postive and negtive wire? Can i just connet them using a connecter block

Don't cut the cigarette lighter adaptor off otherwise they will go bang as they run on 5 volts not 12v.
