Default folding mirrors not working correctly ver. 3

hi there my folding eletric mirrors are knackred, the n/s mirrors only seems to be the one working, and its dosent stop where its ment to it just keeps moving either back in or out and the o/s mirror donsent work at all, anyone know where the fuses are for them, and how do u take the mirrors off?

Fuses? Doesn't sound like a fuse problem to me, sound like the motors are knackered.

To remove them, you need to take off the doorcard, release the wiring connector, prise off the triangular black cover off the inside, then undo the three bolts that hold the mirror.

To get at the motors, AFAIK, you have to release the glass too............best to take it to a bodyshop, I've no idea how they come off

ok iv ordered some new mirrors for £65, not in the same colour, but still a gd price i think, just gonna get em changed cuss i do think they are proper knackred

Bit more than I paid Darms for mine INCLUDING a new switch.

Plus I got 'em sprayed for nowt too

BTW: HAVE you looked at the wiring and the switch?

the drivers side mirror has a crack across its base fitting, and is letting wind nosie in and the other passenger side one does work but just dont stop at its prefixed position, so i just ordered some replacement ones.

Ah, OK then, sounds like they do need replaced.
Forget to fold them, did you?

no when the car was imported i think they got damaged.
