Default Battery for JDM Hawkeye?

Hi all,

My battery has completely failed, smelling of raw eggs and smoking, not good!

So I have removed it and got a new battery which fits perfect, however the batteries poles are too big

Cannot connect the battery leads, it seems that JDM batteries have smaller poles.

Anyone know of a good battery with the smaller poles for a JDM STi Hawkeye??

Thanks

It's not the JDM bit but the Spec C bit that causes the problems.

You can buy motorsport batteries if required for replacement.

Thanks, I had a look at the Optima batteries but none of them will fit.

Any ideas on what other motorsport batteries will fit?

Thanks

Varta do batteries that fit once you take the code off the battery you should have no problems getting a replacement one.

Tried pulling the poles off? Some have covers that make them bigger, pull them off for smaller fitments.

No problem Tony tizz all sorted
As Joey says the Nissan Micra battery comes with an oversized push on lead ringlett you just pull them off and your + and - leads off the JDM fit perfectly.
