I got a set on mine I put 1 Ballast ontop of air Box used good valcro and 1 on side of battery cover.
both on with valcro been there for around 6 months now and never moved.
this is the kit I got. Also come with the LED side lights.

When I had mine on the wrx I fitted the ballasts under the headlights before refitting them, had the slimline ballasts, they stuck down ok with double sided tape, had no issues with MOT, but there is an improved H7 bulb now H7R, it has the cutout on it same as d2R bulbs on my jdm, supposed to cut down the glare, I had no issues with mine at all, although now I have proper jdm hid's I can see a difference in the quality of cutoff on the beam pattern, but never had any issues with blinding other drivers.
