Ok Guys i have a bit of a problem with my hid's.
My drivers side either doesnt turn on or turns off intermittently, and recently ive discovered the passengers side does the same.
To add when i turn on main beam and turn it back off my dipped beam doesnt come back on unless i switch the lights off and back on again. Had a few hairy moments with no lights in the dark last night.
I am at a loose end since talking to the supplier, as the faliure rate is very low but to have both fail suggests im extremley unlucky or i have an electrical fault meaning im extremley unlucky!!!!

If you've talked to the supplier does that mean they are new? If so, I'd be looking to them to replace or refund as they are not fit for purpose.
If that isn't an option I would start looking at your electrical system, starting with making sure the ballast has a sound earth and checking all connections for corrosion etc.

Re-install.
I'd start again with every joint soldered if possible, wirers soldered into push fit connectors and ring connectors.. Work slowly, take all earths back to ONE near ther battery -ve, or do what I did and install an earthing point a bit like the ones they use for +ve ICE supplies.
IF, or WHEN you are happy with the wiring, start suspecting either bulbs or ballasts.

Hello, mine are doing the same. My drivers side one is going out all the time, I have to turn the lights off and back on, then it works for a few mins and out it goes again!
Driving me crazy, I hate to see a light out on a car.
Have you found the problem?
Thanks Claire
