Default psi3 & shift light

Just wired I a LED shift light on pin 1 & 6 of conector 2 but its on permantley do I nee to fit a resistor or something inline?

are you sure it`s not one of your other alarms that's causing it, you wouldn't have known until now as nothing was connected to the output.

Soon as ignition is on the light is on

After reaing that the oil pressure might need changing as I am not running sensor yet

Nope all the alarms are seet correcty and its still just on all the time???

Also the light stays on with ignition off inly time it goes out Ia if yoi pull. The plug from the odb port

do you have the right instructions for your PSI3, Im wondering if you have the wrong connections, or your psi is on the blink.

Its fresh. Back from simon being upgraded and he put a copy othe instructions in with it

I have but he isn't in the opffice til tuesday so wondered if anybody. Here had any ideas

I just tried running a 1k resistor across. Pins 1 and 2 of connector 2 as simon mentioned that but made no differernce

I'm not runni g oil temp and press sensors yet but they defult at 1degree and 98 psi and I have the alaarmsset at 0 for both so that shouldn't cause an alarm battery is fine as is coolant as is boost

All sorted now simon gave me a different pin combo to try today and it worked

No I had it all upgraded but obviously the pin setup must of stayed Ag the old configuration
