STi HIDs not pointing the right way with pics
All
This is baffling. Bought a set of replacement headlights on here which came with ballasts etc. Had them fitted with the necessary alterations to the loom and hey presto - they worked, natch
Come to the MOT last week and they failed despite the tester doing his best to make them comply.
Here's a link to photos I took when I got it back.

Does anything obvious show in these? The Offside adjusters are all on max and the nearside nearly so. Any advice gratefully received; only got a few days for a free retest - it sailed through otherwise.
IMPORTANT - NO CRITICISM IMPLIED OF ANY FELLOW FORUMITES.

Cutoff doesn't look bad.
Have you looked to see if the bulbs are seated properly? If the light is too LOW, it needs to have the base lifted at the bottom. Vive versa for if it's too high.
What is common is that the bulbs are badly made and can't be levelled, they are made slightly bent, if you understand that. It's important with bulbs that the light source is accurately positioned in the reflector, aftermarket HIDs often aren't

Thanks Guys,
These are genuine factory Bugeye STI JDM HID projector headlights. The ballasts and wiring was all OEM and all that was needed was the conversion loom.
As I said they went in a treat and our fellow forumite took care to ensure they went in correctly.
I'll certainly check the seating and bulbs and get back once I've had a look.
