I seem to remember being told about these before, but I can't find anything relating to it, basically over the last couple of days the clock in the pod thingy on the dash board has started to play up, sometimes working, sometimes not, now has decided to not work at all.
Are these repairable, or just a throw away item, I've checked for power to the unit and that's fine.

They certainly are, and it gives you a sense of achievement as well.
I think someone had been in there before me though, unless the machine/person that soldered them from new was having a " bad solder" day.
