Default Crap Blob lights

I have a 06 blob sti, however the lights are terrible, the previous owner had hids fitted which were removed due to the car failing the mot, standard bulbs were put back in, but the light is rubbish.

How can I improve the lights without resorting to putting the hids back in, I cant stand people in the opposite direction blinding me with tacky blue hids, so I dont want to be the same.

I have seen these on ebay, but they dont look very good http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMP...item564ed87308

I fitted a set of PIAA headlight bulbs to mine, Expensive but great light and quality.

And those lights in the ebay link are just nasty IMO, The blob lights are way better looking.

I've got the Phillips "ultra blue" in mine. They're not actually blue, just a nice crisp white light - and apparently perfectly legal!

Psst ! HID's are only illegal if you get caught - or during an MOT !

Honest !

P.S. Yes I do swap back to H1's for the MOT....
