Default Headlihgt sensor

Hi to all, sorry to b a pain. I have a warning light on the dash, it's the headlight one, and I've noticed my headlights r high when on low beam. I presume that the rear level sensor is goofed. Does anyone have any ideas also where can I get a replacement senso. My hubby is going must. Thx. Jax.

Same thing happened to me, it will be the headlight levelling sensor on the front driver side.

Water gets in the plug bit and corrodes the pins, remove the plug you will see what I mean, probably find one pin stuck in the plug.

Unfortunately a new sensor is required and they're £240 + VAT from Subaru!!. Get one from a breakers, rear is better as the sensor is the same as front but sits differently so does not have the issue with water corroding the pins, you will need to ask the breakers to cut the plug and some wiring too as you wont get the broken pin out of the other plug and the plug is part of the main wiring loom.

If it's intermittent then that will be the pin making contact with what's left of it in the plug.

Lights pointing at the ground (or way too high) and warning light on dash are the symptoms.
