My New Purchase - A P1
After 6-7 years away from the Subaru scene here is my new car.
Its completely standard bar forged internals added during a rebuild by API
On my list of things to do includes a respray of the front bumper and a suspension refresh
Enjoy!

It has been used as a P1 base reference car in a few performance car magazines during the last 3 years as it's so close to standard. It's a credit to the previous owners (2)

Over on p1woc, there are a bunch of lads commissioning a run of the original p1 spring specs plus other options, including some that are for Eibach coilovers and the original kyb dampers
I am waiting for them to complete their testing then I will be making a decision, I want to get it as close to original as possible

Did you do this yourself or get a company to do it?

Diy mate, there are a few write ups showing you how to do it. Normally the gas shock is ok, its just the grease that ages and then the suspension knocks.
It took me about 10 hours total to do the work, but that included cleaning, sanding and painting the bodies too, oh and the springs and strut tops.

It will stay very close to standard, don't worry
Only additions so far are an official prodrive gear ****, a prodrive backbox( the p1 branded ones are as rare as rocking horse poop, the hunt continues) and a new of of prodrive p1 mats
