My unfortunate engine bay
hello all, only recently started prowling the forums here, thought I'd share the one and only pic/proof I have of my engine bay as it stands. I bought this car about a year ago from a friend, I've done my best but in order to give it the TLC it deserves I've taken it off road till I carry out maintenance and improve on the original
it's work in progress, soon it shall be anything but pink under there!
Wish me luck!

Was he a member on SIOC??
Thats terrible mate, I can see why you want to change it all back to standard, your best bet is to ask the breakers on here for a price on replacing all those pink bits.

could be worse, clean off the yellow caps and the plastic covers would tone it down a lot
intercooler is the worst bit, swap for another or remove (easy job) and a couple of hours with a scotch pad would sort it
the mani and strut brace would't look too bad imo

Thanks for the feedback, the previous owner is on here I believe. Infinity is his usual online handle (it was his wife's motor)
I don't know where I'm going with the bug just now, will see where my budget takes me!

Ye olde Scoobe is in good hands now though!
Well, as good as my budget allows. Currently saving for a house, so the Boss/Mrs keeps my spending in check!

I've not decided what colour will replace the pink yet, I am considering a kawasaki green!

Arch liners will probably need modified/removed anyway, I'm hoping to get the ABW WRC arches on
