So the car was all done and mapped. Put a few hundred miles on her and then found the rear crankshaft oil seal was leaking. When Tim put the engine together a new one was used but it's just one of those things that happen sometimes.
So I pulled the engine back out, replaced the seal along with going right over the motor again. It's been a couple of months of messing but it's back together now, took it for a run yesterday and grabbed a few snaps.

I half fancy a set of standard wheels to be honest Joe. If a nice set come along at the right money I'd certainly consider it.
Only question mark is the fitment as i'm using 4 pots up front. I don't think the OE wheels for this specific model clear 4 pots.

The catch can was made for me to my measurement by a chap on here. Forgive me but can't remember the username off hand. If I remember it after a good nights sleep i'll let you know.
Ignore the horrible red mini filter, I broke the black one when removing the engine so need to order another

Ah yeah the breaks that's a good point Martty.
I run 304mm k sports on my sprint car which is running some pretty decent power.
Really impressed with the stopping power!
If I were you I would consider the k sport 286mm kit. There's not many wheels that don't clear these. This car would look amazing with the standard wheels on!
Please don't take this the wrong way, personally im I'm not a fan of the millieniums, theye been done to death, hence why I sold mine. The standard v1/2 wheels will work so well.
For me v3 ones just don't workout on the earlier cars.
What a gorgeous car, makes me re think modding mine

I hear ya Joe and I am considering standard wheels.
These aren't Rev millenniums though buddy, they are genuine Speedline ST2's. I opted for speedline over revs as I think they are more in keeping with the history of the car, the rally car of this era used an almost identical speedline but in 18" form.

It's mapped with low boost (1.2bar) and drives very well, gets to 100mph in a heartbeat with the close box.

The engine bay did need quite a bit of work to get it how I wanted. Some people think I'm a nutter considering its the one area of the car rarely seen

Pretty much every component was either removed and cleaned, painted or replaced.
Here's a before and after shot. The first shot is the day I recieved the car. The second shot is as now except ive now swapped the tacky red catch can filter for a black one.
