New member with a WRX
Hi all, new member introduction here, although I have been lurking for a couple months. I'm new to Subaru's, having not long owned my 2005 WRX, but I am no stranger to modified Japanese cars. I started out with a Nissan 200SX, and ended up owning two at one point as I purchased one for a good price to nab some nice bits off it. Then, i moved to an import S15 Silvia as I wanted something that performed the same but was a bit more modern and a nicer place to be.
I sold the Silvia as I wanted to put some money into savings, but it wasn't long before I had to get back behind the wheel of a Nissan and got myself an R33 skyline. This is the fastest car I've owned at 380 BHP (Tame I know, compared with some of your Impreza's, but enough for me at the time). I only sold the car as I was able to make a lot of money on what I paid and wasn't getting much time to use it around my Uni studies. I regret selling it now though, as they seem to be making a lot of money and mine was mint, 40K miles and you could eat your dinner off the underside.
This landed me up in a EP3 civic type-r whilst I was at Uni, as I still wanted something nippy but more usable and reliable. Loved the car but with Uni coming to an end I had the itch for something turbo again, which brings me to today and my 2005 blobeye WRX.
The WRX is really good fun and has got me hooked on the AWD train. So much so, that I will be looking to get myself a decent STI as a solid base to start modifying from.
Apologies for the life story, and here's some pictures to make up for it.
