lets start the clean of Osy the Forester (engine bay)
I'm now a two Scooby household as of Saturday, The STi 330s is always clean- being white and now the Forester needs some TLC and getting how I want it as in terms of detailing it.
Tonight as I'm short on time (having two little ones that need feeding getting them in bed etc) I've just started with the engine bay.
It had been jet washed before I picked it up on Saturday, so most of the cack had gone.
So I've started with this as my blank canvas...
then spray over with Machine Mart's Traffic film remover and agitate with detailing brushes in all the nooks and crannies..
then go over with Snow Foam... leave a few mins then use the detailing brushes to move any dirt..
Then quickly jet wash it over, dry off with micro fibre towel... then I had a drive (so heat of the engine helps dry the last bits of water up) to B&Q to pick up some WD40.
I sprayed WD in the areas which may hold water and used it to soften up and clean off some of the wax oil that seems to be everywhere. Once I've done, I go over the rest of the engine plastics etc with AutoGlym's Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner... and wipe over get a bit of shine to those areas.
