I have a soft spot for mkIIs![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I've got some more pics, they're a bit bobbins though
I've got another 2 rolls from Kall Kwik to be developed and 2 from Roskirk stages too, will have to wait till pay day to get them developed though

Yup,
A polarising filter is different. Can be picked up pretty cheap.
Get a circular polariser first - can be turned easily on the lens depending on camera angle - great for glass/water/sky shots.

Nice pics Bob, weather looked OK too, bit cold though hey?
I'm hoping to go the Sunseeker this weekend, only a 260 mile round trip
This photography hobby is getting expensive![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Cheers, Grahame.

On an Auto focus lense you will have to use a circular polariser but you will loose something like 2 stops so then you end up buying bigger lenses whick cost thousands or faster film that has more grain...it can be a never ending circle.
You can try and to move your position so you reduce the glair.
A UV filter just remover the UV haze on summer day land scape shots but us they have no effect for anything else people have them fitter all the time to protect the lense.
What apature are you using ? some of the focusing looks quite selective, try using either shutter priority and choose a shutter speed that is over the focal leingth of the lense your using
So if your at 300mm choose a shutter speed higher than 300th (you may have to choose 500th on an EOS 300 ...my EOS 1 is more selective) but watch your apature.
The smaller the apature (the bigger the number) the larger amount of the picture will be in focus.
Or you could use apature priority and choose an apatuer that gives you a shutter speed faster than the lenses focal leingth.
Keep up the good work, those pics look great![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Ok, first off, thanks for all your kind words![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
My dad has lent me his Polarizing fingmy! It's a circuler one... screws into the lens then you twist it to suit, apparently! Hopefully, I'll be out again at the North West stages on Saturday so I'll try it out then![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I have absolutely no idea at all what apperture or shutter speeds I'm using! I only got the camera last month, since then I've done two rallies and a track day so I'm only really just getting to grips with using it! As mentioned above, I'm finding it all to be like a never ending circle, changing one thing effects something else![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
When you say selective focusing, do you mean such as on the yellow EVO6 where the nearside is in focus but the offside is ever so slightly out?
It was quite a nice day at the Kall Kwik, just full on mega cold
I was glad to have my new boots, new coat and wooley hat, the flask of hot soup was awesome
Don't get me started on the expense thing.... way too scary![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Anyhoo, if I could ask a favour
I want to enter the photographic competition on www.britishrally.co.uk so if you wouldn't mind helping me make a shortlist
My fave from this lot is the red EVO7, though the yellow Cossie is doing summat for me too![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)

Hey Bob,
Don't leave it too long, you have until the 7th March![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I agree with you, go with the Evo,
Cheers, Grahame.
PS What do you use to scan in you 35mm film, 35mm scanner, flatbed or do you get them scanned at a photo shop when you have them developed. They come out very well.

Oh it's ok, I have it planned out, honest
I've got 5 rolls waiting to be developed yet, should get them done for the weekend hopefully... I think there might be some better shots in amongst them
(just waiting for pay day)
These pics were just scanned on a flatbed from a 7x5 print, upped the DPI to 300 and then cropped to 700 pixels wide
They're all near as dammit the size of the print too, haven't cropped any yet![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I see yours looks good in the line up, as does the manta, bugeye....![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
If you look in the backround on Mark Sayer's entry, the yellow EVO6 you can see me and our kid taking pics![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
