pics of my new car, currently sailing the sea on its way to me.
Can't wait.
I think the spots in the bumper will have to go though. I need to source some STI covers

not sure on the price yet.
Gonna be somewhere around 13 grand.
It took months to find one in this condition below average price.
I was determined not to pay the going rate....lol.
This is a steal, 30K miles, Full Subaru History, standard car apart from the pipe and boost guage.
We finally managed to source it from a very small auction. The big auctions like the Tokyo one always seemed to bring top prices, we were always out bidded.
The smaller auctions give a much better chance for grabbing a very cheap car.

only problem is, I know bollocks all about subarus. I have to start swatting up on safely looking after one.
I am still a little concerned about the detonation issue. although i reckon I'll have it covered for when the car arrives if I ask enough questions here

Glad you got what you were looking for in the end, takes a while don't it
Hope it all goes to plan and don't take too long to get it on the road in the UK. Don't worry about not knowing about Scoobs, there's plenty on here that will bend over backwards to help you,
I knew virtually nothing about my RA when I got it.
Still know only a little

No illum key thingy here too.
Leave the big PIAA spots and the V6 front lip Gedi. Lights are a must as std ones are crap and lip finishes the front off nicely..
Mail me off line if you need mod advice. I've got an identical car but more mods.
Yep, def right number of doors for a Scoob...

Cheers for the comments, I'm sure I'll be leaning on you to guide me in this new world I'm entering.
I'm used to driving a 210bhp 306 so this is gonna be a whole new experience. I'm actually a little nervous.
I'm glad the original steering wheel is in it. I think i'll be swapping it back. It looks a little more classy than the other.
So that'll be some foglamps, a steering wheel and a set of gold 16" alloys for sale when the car arrives.

I have absolutly no idea. My mate who runs his own import buisness has sorted everything for me.
Its the best service and easiest time I have ever had in buying a car. You just sit back and recieve emails virtually daily with pics and full descriptions of the cars. The scouts in Japan check the cars out before they buy to ensure you get a perfect car. I have about 50 emails with TypeR's on. We bidded for loads but they always went for over the odds. This one was the right price. I'm a tight git who wants to pay less than they are worth. Even if it means waiting for 2-3 months till one turns up....

Hi Chris,
Yeah, its getting the top clifford alarm and tracker.
House and Garage are already belled up.
I think the switches near the ignition are something to do with the waterspray.
One is for 'demand' and one is for 'auto'
Somebody please correct me if I am wrong, this is just info I have picked up from reading this board

quick question on the water spray switches.
They seem to be some sort of toggle switch...(i.e. steel 'poles' sticking out) is it my eyes, am I really seeing this, is it normal (I think not)
