running in and only done 150 miles so cant go over 4k revs,(very frustrating).was going to have it put on at 1k service but the pack turned up after 3 days so they put it straight on.
the only thing i can comment on is the extra torque, it picks up easy at low revs in a high gear.
i plan to do a few long journeys so in a week or so, oil change & unleash...

7 foot - you got it in one! Just something about the newer models - they look good, hell they look great, but they seem to be lacking some of the old character... dont know, cant quite put my finger on it - big wing, lowering,?? maybe that is what is missing... dont know......

thanks guys,
the mods will come, but not performance wise as i dont want to mess with the warranty. was looking at 18" wheels but i think where the rolling circumference would still be the same under the big wide arches, only lowering the car would really change it.still food for thought.
as for the spoiler i have heard subaru have another one in the pipeline similar to the p1 spoiler so i will wait & see on that.
i agree about the classic there is & always will be something about it being the original rally scoob but after driving the new one around for a few days you realise how much they have moved on.
now wheres that accessories book, i feel another mod coming...

Forgive the dum questions. I've always wanted a scoob and can now afford it so i've ordered an '03 WRX. was just wondering what the PPP was for and does it affect insurance? oh and price.
Cheers,
ST.

st,
the ppp ( prodrive performance pack ) can be ordered & fitted by the dealer, ( exhaust, ecu & hoses changed) and therefore doesn't affect the warranty. It costs £1600 but gives you extra 40 bhp and up to 25% more torque. There seems to be a slight increase on most insurance co.s but fortunately mine isn't one of them.![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
If its your first scoob i'd give it time to get used to it first.
As for the little tweek glimpse on the lowering i think its definitely the way to go but with 18"s as i like a bit of rubber ( ooh eh) to protect from potholes etc.
