Cool

This is my Defi pod and Defi gauges in my STi7, coutesy of Nito at Nitosport.

and from an angle that you don't see too often

The pod is an excellent fit and just clips into place, and therefore can easily be restored to standard.

Mark

Question

Just out of curiosity Iain, where have you mounted the control unit for the gauges?

Regards,

Hi Gerrod.

I went for the control unit 1 rather than the latest one because it's a bit smaller, (and I didn't want / need the extra functionality of the newer one). Luckily it's just the right size to fit into the hole that was occupied by the ash tray, so it's now sitting snugly by the right side of the lighter socket. Looks good enough to be factory fit

In fact, you can just see it at the bottom of one of the pictures...

How does the pod match the plastic on the top of the dash? It looks like it is a bot diffrent.

Also are they 60mm or 52?

The pod is designed for 60mm gauges.

As Gerrod says, it's for 60mm. The plastic is slightly different (smooth rather than textured, and very slightly darker), but it fits in with the interior very well. In fact I'd go as far as to say factory fit.

All IMHO of course

Is 60mm my only option or can i go smaller? Are the smaller ones only for the single din fit?

I think 60mm is the only option for this pod. If you want smaller, then I think you'll either have to find a different pod, or go for some of the single gauge holders (but don't quote me on that).

Perhaps make up some small 8mm inserts for the Defi pod to make it fit correctly?
