In answer to those who've rtm'd this thread, as far as I'm aware, guidelines on posting pix like these is subject to debate.
Mellow isn't advertising the car for sale, but it does carry advertising, as were Salsa's, TSL's and several others. However, as we've yet to decide the best way to police these posts, they're currently all being left up.

Mmmm - Josh chill I think that 'advertising' on the car when the subject is the car is a little harsh....
Next thing will be that scoobynet will start deleting images of cars with tobacco advertising on
To try and 'police' that sort of advertising would be even more of a headache than it currently is. Perhaps Simon might like to comment on this ?

Maybe I didn't explain it properly Gastro. It's not me raising this issue, members are reporting these threads, complaining that they are adverts.
The reason I posted is that the most recent RTM asked for an email reply, but didn't include an email address, and it's not far from being the first complaint we've had about similar posts.
IMHO, we need to look at some basic guidelines over these posts. Especially those from dealers, and they are ads, regardless of the copy posted with them, and as it turns out, this car is actually for sale.

Still cant see why its a problem...?? Does that mean if i have a www.scoobyparts.com sticker on my car and i want to post some pics of it on scoobynet im supposed to blank out the stickers..??

How about all those that have a dealer sticker in the back window or the dealer/plate maker on the number plate?
When will this stop? It will be near impossible to draw a line to define black and white here, just delete the pictures of the pi$$ takers/traders who are trading who don't have a banner.

Whats the big deal.....
He is showing his race car,to us,who basically are interested in seeing it.
The fact it has SCOOBYSCENE plastered all over it it neither here nor there.
When its on the track you wont see it,so make the most of it while its stationary.
PS. I like the race style airial,nice touch......

Hmmm a few too many "watchdoggers" out there far too much time on thier hands.
