Lowering a Sport

I really would like to lower my sport as i cant stand the gap between the wheels and the arches.Anyone done this and how low did you go??

I put Eibachs on mine and dropped it about an inch, follow the Sport thread and all your questions will be answered. Go for it its for the best.
