Hiya,

Im looking into kitting my sti out with a blitz nur spec system, thing is i cant find any decent pictures of the backbox on a scooby.

Can someone help me out?

cheers good shots they are......few questions for ya.

1) it is a 4.5" tailpipe isnt it?

2) How do you find the noise on motorways...does it drone a lot?

Havent done any long jurneys but im told if you put the silencer in it its not to bad....

When you say the put the silencer in, what do you mean?

Cos doesnt the nur spec r decat the centre as well?

I have one of these babies on my 03 STI and believe me it hums.

If you want to get noticed and get a small power increase to boot believe me this is the way to go.

I'll dig out some photo's and e-mail them to you.

you get a removable silencer to put in the backbox to quiten it down..(sometimes known as a bung)

pops and bangs alot more with the blitz than it did with the maxnex also.....

Mind you i have a full stainless decat so its probably louder than if you still have cats in.

ah getcha....wos considering doing the downpipe as well as it goes.

Do you know what the power gains are with doing the back & centre...and then how much more for changing the down as well?

NB it's only the blitz nurspec R that has the bung, if the back box is bort on it's own it doesn't & in such a case my neighbour wood of kicked me outa garage i rent off him but it's the daddy of zausts IMO

my advice is to go to a local meet where ever you are, i'm sure there is one, or there's JAE this weekend & sample the goodies. It's great hearing them in the flesh & while it is doubtless great sound files can vary greatly depending on where taken from if you know what i mean but i say again blitz is daddy i was guna stay standard for the first year of ownership till i heard the booming blitz at a local meet (OK so group buy helped lol)

My car had the magnex on since i bought it and i had no intension of sellling it, untill i met with WhiteScooby the other day to buy a cd changer and when he left the car park, i though holy **** that sounds nice.....but when i saw the price of £500 on scoobyworld i thought again.. then i happend across one on J-W-Racng website today for £320...and the rest is history like my hearing..........
