Hi Elmer,
Looks lower to me. I kept thinking the same when I had the Eibachs fitted - your car looks great, trust me!![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
More important is how it drives now noticed a difference?
Cheers
Phil

I had the same doubts when I fitted Eibach's to my MY00, to the extent that I contacted Eibach and demanded their 'before and after' tolerances for lowering to see if my car had dropped at all. Turns out it had, but I found it barely visible.
30mm by the way.

I actually took photos with a rule against the wheel arch before and after Eibach fitting....
Only marginally lower in appearance, but overall well worth it. The car feels better..
I reckon your motor looks lower too, so I wouldn't worry - Surely your main aim was to improve the springs and, therefore, handling, not just lower the looks !

Thanks for the replies chaps![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
That sure is an unpleasant job, changing springs...Its Monday am
and I'm still aching all over!
The Eibachs that I fitted to my last car seemed to be a bit softer than std springs on the initial little bit of travel, then firm up nicely, but these P1's are a lot less forgiving. As ADP says, not very comfortable around town.
My job takes me to Antwerp 2 or 3 times a month so it ain't gonna' be much fun driving it on some of their cobbled streets. <shudder>

I could swap you for some Sport springs if you like ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Have you got any photos of the "during" ie with the springs out and next to each other for comparison?

Hi Tony
Yours definately does look lower![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I can just about get two metric fingers under each wheel arch on mine![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
In fact, this is partly your fault,LOL
.
I did a search for 'Pi springs'and amongst all the mostly negative comments, was pic of your car looking sooo nice
.
Which sort of swayed the balance as I'd had 'em knocking around for about 6 months!![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Rusty- With both springs compared to each other, the lowering springs are longer...(eh?)![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks again

Like all these things, it can take a while to settle down. I remember it did when I first fitted the Eibach's to my MY01. The front didn't appear to change much. However, after a week it had dropped. Result was good and it improved the handling.

) or just pass it on to the next person ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
