Picked it up this evening, and have been driving since
Some quick shots from earlier, and some taken in the garage tonight of the interior - hence the bad lighting.
Initial feelings - very smooth power delivery and verrrrrrrrrry fast. Accumulates speed so easily, and handles so much better than the scoob.
Next step a decent stereo and maybe pimps.
Enjoy..........

It's the leather 'option' on the FQ300s, Nick. Wasn't too sure about a yellow car, but knew we had to have it as soon as we saw it and the seats make it, IMO.

Thanks for the comments guys, the pics don't really do the wheels justice, they look much better in real life, depsite their similarity to the MY00 ones.
Iwanna... I will endeavour to make it look as muc like a Scoob as possible (especially as I just sold one)

Matt, Those seats do improve the interior loads. I notice they also retrim gear gaiter and door cards, very nice.
Hope you dont mind me asking but did you use Cirencester Mitsi dealer???

Is it me or do the standard alloys on an Evo 7/8 look too small for the car? I passed an EVO 8 FQ300 today and couldnt believe how small and understated they look - compared to the Evo 6 that is. I felt quite intimidating in my 02 WRX by comparison.

Those seats are gorgeous. I think it would look excellent with tints as well.
Claire saw this on the Disboards last night and was "Ooh that's nice" There's hope for me to have a new car after all
Nathan..

Cheers Matt, you must be well chuffed with it. I love the interior, is it custom made or can you get it like that from the factory?
How often do you need get Evo's serviced? I heard it was every 4,500 miles
Keep us posted with the performance verdict after you have run it in.

Nathan I saw Claire's post on the DIS - keep working on her I reckon
Danny, the seats are the leather option as it comes fitted. I think that on the standard car it has VIII acros the back and not FQ 300, As far as performance - it is not brand new, but nearly new, so has already been run in. The performance is mind blowing. Much quicker than our old scoob, and the handling and grip are in a different league to any scoob I have ever driven, including an STi8 PPP.
Hoping to run it at Powerstation soon, to get an idea of what it is putting out, but even if it is just the 300 it's supposed to be it is a good place to start from
Matt
oh and yes ever 4500 miles for servicing, but I think the smaller ones are quite cheap - but hey who cares, we'll be worrying about fuel consumption next!
