Well I collected her yesterday
- managed to give her a clean today and thought I'd post up some photos of my new Scoob WRS.
Thanks to my bruv for hosting and sorting out said photos.

Agree with you there Ron - but I must admit I have some good memories from the Silver one - however the move from Jap Import to UK was a good one - have been switching the wipers on instead of the indicators all day

Thanks Paul - I have the dreaded hesitation at the moment but I have been searching through previous threads and need to clean some pipes, MAF and boost control solenoid.
Other than that I am very pleased

Well spotted that man - with the wheel lock ;0)
Thanks for the positive comments guys - To be honest I have never been a major fan of red scoobs (flame suit on) but when I saw this one for sale, well lets just say it changed my perspective on the whole red and gold wheels thing.
Just need to find a good scoob meet now......

re the hesitation, if its an MY00 car you could try an MY99 ecu![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Makes them go better![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Um - the ecu may be a problem cos this Scoob is carrying the full Prodrive pack including the uprated ECU ?? I would very much like to stick with it if I can - the thing is this car has been serviced every 7K miles by a Scooby dealer and my guess is the oil has no doubt been overfilled on a few occasions and probably contaminated sensors etc. Well thats the first area I will try and see how I get on with it. I need a clear day so I can get under the bonnet and start checking different things.
Thanks for the comments though guys - I agree that this is not a colour you see very often - this was one of the reasons I went for it

I think you have taken what I said literally - wot I was saying was meant to be sarcastic - as in the indicator sticks on Jap imports are on the opposite side than the u.k models - hence the following line in which I stated that I have been switching on the wipers instead of the indicators all day. However the car I have has the full PPP pack and feels to me to be a much better "drivers" car than my previous WRX, remembering the fact that one is 1993 (WRX) and the other is 2000 (WRS). I think it is more the case that I have moved from an original Scoob to one of the last of the Classics made![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
As I say I have some very fond memories of my original Scoob and I am very happy to know that shes going to a new owner who will give her the TLC that she deserves....![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Hope this answers
