Well the evo was a different beast altogether. It had a more direct steering and handling to match.Unfortunately not yet pushed the sti8 on the twisties, but just love the flat four burble and looks.

Nice tints I assume M8.

What grade did you get? I've got one identical and was thinking about the tints.

I've just had the Prodrive springs fitted and wow, go for it!

steve holmes...

Is the itg filter any better than the original one?,I was thinking of the Green cotton filter or i've used with great success the blitz stainless mesh(expensive)on the evo.Noise wise, is it louder and any difference on the pick-up?

Hi Prodrive,

sorry for not getting back earlier.
Yes the ITG is much better than the standard, I also had one on my P1. The noise levels are only slightly louder but only if you really concentrate.

I also think that the pick up is better and that at higher revs the engine seems to spin a lot easier and doesn't seem to flat spot if you know what I mean, (at approx 5500-6500 revs).

I haven't tried the green cotton ones although they do not have oil in them I believe which maybe a benefit.

The firestorm is fairly loud and much louder than the Prodrive one. Iniside the car the PPP bb was almost silent whereas the firestorm you can definatly hear it. Go on buy one!!
