Checked out the MP3 head unit but all the site tells me is the company has now been sold and they no longer support the incar unit

Anyone got a wireless con in your car? I saw a mate who works in the ICE industry and his Beemer convertible has a 40GB HDD in the front ashtray, this stores the MP3's which are playeed back bia the headunit but the trick is all the music is sent via the wireless link. So you park up and then when you want to send an album or a mix over you just do so on your PC - hey presto no more CD's in the car and can keep updating your tunes!!
Gonna check that screen out further - I want one!

Depends what you are after, but the Clarion is a good all rounder.
The Pioneer 6500 is a good un too.
Alpine kit is a bit dear at the moment.
I've seen the Pioneer 6500 for under a grand from here

These work well - m8 has one...basically a hard drive that plugs into your head unit then can be removed and plugged into your PC as another Hard drive. Record and play - also can edit display on PC then plugin and it plays in the config you set it to..Am getting one myself soon so will post up..mobile jukebox...20Mb Hard-disk - easy to upgrade - just buy a 120mb laptop harddisk and copy the software to new disk...Big time music...
Also connects up to existing headunits..nuff said..

iDle,
I never bought the TV tuner as I've been informed that the picture isn't really that great since the singnal would vary if you were on the move.
Anyway, it'd only be BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channels 4 & 5 anyway, so not really worth it.

I thought about buying the Kenwood 920DVD as it has an in-built TV tuner but as its a couple of years old now, has no MP3 capability.
Plus, the best price I got was around £1,200.
