Seasons greetings all
I'm going to view another car at a main dealers tomorrow
and just wondered(read worried)as to what the value of my much loved Burnsmobile's might be?..p/x or private?
It's had 3 owners,done 33.5k and has a full MD service history,just had the 60k done!!
(original WRSport No 378 btw and was completely std when I bought it last Feb)
I think most of the extras can be seen in the pics, apart from the Godspeed brakes, the K+N and full de-cat,none of which will add to its trade in value I know...so,any(sensible)suggestions are welcome
Thanks,Jon

Not sure of the value, but it such a lovely car that I hope whatever you are going to be looking at at the dealer is worth it!!

I know this is completely off topic and in the wrong section, but i spotted you in Whiteley tesco's a few weeks back, very nice motor, lovely sound. I was in a silver 03 parked the other side of the car park so i doubt you would have seen me!

Afternoon all
Right, well that was a complete waste of time.
The black UK Evo that I went to see turned out to be a silver import
so i didn't get as far as any trade-in deals. The enemy will just have to wait a 'lil bit longer until I join their rankslol
Ironically on my way home I was followed by another RB5
and decided that I'd keep mine for a while.....then nearer home I saw someone pass me in a Terzo, fog lights on,driving like his hair was on fire:O...
I just think that classic Imprezas are rapidly gaining a bit of a bad image at the moment

IMO, even if you were to strip the wheels, brakes, lights, gauges etc etc and sell em all privately, you should still get £10k+ from an IM dealer.
Thats what I did anyway!

YFM,There was one in my local autotrader last week for £14.500,which was kind of what got me thinking.
guess,I set my sights a bit too high then
thanks for all the replies as well everyone(the wheels are 18''speedline Turini's from TSL btw)

Elmer Fudpucker,
Your RB5 Looks asolutly awesome mate, its almost identical to mine (cosmetic mods apart from the wheels). What i was wondering is where you got those blue/grey RB5 stickers from ? They look really cool and suit the colour of the car a lot better.
Keep the car mate

£13.5K is having a laugh isnt it,its a nice looking car but its on a 'T'plate which is getting old now.
I traded my RB5 WR when it was 12 months old with 10k on the clock and got £18K at the MD,now you lot are saying its still worth £13.k is laughable and with 33k on the clock.
You are better off selling privately than trading, i've seen 03 Wrx's with less than 6k going for £16k so expecting £13-£14k for yours at a MD isnt going to happen.

zippy,I don't think that anyone was suggesting that a Main Dealer would offer that much, but thanks anyway
Are you saying that you lost £9k in 12 months of ownership?
list price for a new WR sport was £27k!
I have a receipt for my car, where,at two years old it was sold for £22k.
aceman,YHM,on how to make your own flaps
