Chaps, I'm trying to decide which wheels to purchase. Either OZ Superleggeras (19" with tyres at 2000 euros) or Superturismos (18" with tyres at 1480 euros). Now obviously the 19" Supers are gonna look better, but 520 euros better? Can any of you with these wheels please post 'em up especially any bug-eyes (stating whether they are 18 / 19") so I can have a butchers?

I think 19" wheels will mess up the handling

Where did you get that price ?

Tax-free over here in Germany. Can't decide whether the 19's are worth the extra!

19" Super Legs

SWEEEEET

Personally if ur after FAST ROAD use then 19" will compromise the handling and even more so on the track. 18" perfect for Fast road

Cool

Taff107, make sure when you get them that they give you a Tüv certificate for them (otherwise it voids your warranty, insurance and police can prevent you driving on them).

one of the guys on the german scooby site had details of which have Tüv etc... http://www.subaru-community.net/

Cheers,

Neal

Lightbulb

Super L's are significantly lighter than Super T's, but there is a new Super T GT coming out made from the new lightweight stronger alloy soon. If you can't wait, get the L's, but ask around on here for advise as to whether the 18's will fit. I recall a problem with the offset being mentioned, which is why most seem to go up to 19's with this wheel. But I might be wrong ? I'd recommend 18's for better handling and daily road use, 19's for pose value only IMHO.

Thanks for the posts
Corradoboy, the new SuperT's are the one that I was looking at - the spokes seem longer than the old type
Nick and Misty, are there any probs with 18's as corradoboy says?
Cheeseboy, I don't think I will need a TUV certificate as the car is BFG registered which is the same as the UK. However, I may as well get one while I'm at it. Do you get them from the dealer?

their WRX 03 has 19" Superleggera Wheels with Toyo Proxes T1-S tyres
at a cost of 939.99 inc vat

Quote from scoobyworld - http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/cgi-bin...ed/6/index.htm
"Our choice of alloy wheel! We've run these in 18" form on our previous MY00 Impreza Turbo and now run 19" on our WRX 03 Impreza - click title for detailed picture.

Our most popular alloy wheel due to the design, performance, price
and durability.

Please note that we can supply this wheel for other performance cars as well as Subaru's.

When I clicked on the "Product Required" tab it showed the 17's at £939.99 and 19's at £1539.99. The 18's were out of stock with no price listed, but I'd guess midpoint at about £1239.99.
