I think they are speedline, I think yours is a 97/98 and the wheels dont fit over 4 pot brakes i.e. MY99/MY00

Am I right? or should I get my coat

I'm 99% sure they don’t fit over 4 pots,

Looks nice mate, nice colour coding too

I think RON, is a knowledgeable person on the 4 pot clearance side of stuff. No doubt he'll be along later on....

I had those wheels, Prodrive Supertourismos. I had to change them to Prodrive ST2s to fit 4 pot brakes .

Cool

These are the same Prodrive/Speedline chrono wheels, with 4 pots, and within a few days an AP/Wilwood 330 brake conversion.

the wheel fitment is more down to the disc size rather than the caliper size!!!

Looking good Cliff!

At least the de-tango will be easier on this one

Wheels are indeed Speedline (Super?)Turismos (now Chrono) - and you do have to be careful about 4-pot brake kits, even on 17"s (had them in gold on my old Sport). Problem is down to the spoke shape on the inside of the wheel (Apparently it's possible to have some of the spoke cut away, but you'd probably do better to use spacers). Anyway - it's the reason that the RB5 wheels are subtly different.

Hope it runs well at the RR in a couple of weeks (but I'll still be faster )

Apparentl;y there are two versions of these wheels, some fit over the 4 pots, and some don't, the earlier ones have a straight inside to the spoke, and the later ones are slightly curved, apparently!!

cheers guys for the comments and help, still confused as to whether or not they will fit now, but probably a good idea to go see someone who knows, or can tell me straight

Phok, yes, i labelled the induction kit, why? i dont know

Andy, naturbo2000, cant wait for the r/r day, it`ll be good to see how this one is performing, because it feels soooo quick, maybe its because its not as refined as the bugeye, but i absolutely love it, although i have a few doubts in my mind about getting a 5 door!! maybe shoulda got a saloon

Cliff - I'll take a look at the spokes next time I see you (all to do with the inside edge, where they meet the rim).

Classic should be faster than a new age with same power (quite a bit lighter) - then again, we know your old one was slow .

Cliff - you really didn't need to go that far just to give me a decent run for my money ......
Looks lovely though - and I've always liked those Speeline Chronos!

You come up with a run in February and I'll follow you for a change?

hi peeps, sorry bit busy lately.

Gossy, i`ll be over in the near future to see you
Mark, my dog wagon is sooooooo much quicker than the slow fat ugly fugly bugeye also, agreed, the wheels look superb on this colour car.
Paul Davies, its a green fully colour coded wagon with 17" silver speedlines and sits lower then standard, but, its still just a wagon, so you aint missing that much
Mr Palmer, i see you seen my new ad in wanted then!!
