Its running 215/35 toyo's at the mo, but I'll be switching back to F1s as soon as they need replacing - which means going to 225/35s....
Not sure if I'll need the rear arches doing then, but only 20quid anyhow, so should be OK....
The only 'catching' I get is from the (not in the picture) front mudflaps, cos I put them on the lower setting by mistake and haven't got around to correcting it !
Mark
PS _ The flaps catch the ground, not the wheels .....

I take it you have to avoid speed bumps in that thing - does autoroute work them out for you?
think I'll be buying me some eibachs!

They're better than the Avons I used to run - but the F1s seemed ultimately better in the wet - I think the Toyos perhaps are more 'progressive' towards the limit, but this just means that they start letting go a bit earlier !
I think that they (Toyos) are probably the best for their price, but I'd rather pay a bit more - seems pointless to have spent 20odd grand on the car, only to drive slower because of the tyres...
The mudflaps are TSL ones - which come with 2 sets of pre-made holes, but I put the front ones on using the upper holes - the rears are fitted with the lower holes and are fine - so its just a matter of removal and re-fit (when I get round to it !)
Cheers,
Mark

the only times its ever caught was when i was doing donuts in the deep snow and i ripped the front mudflaps off and cracked the front spoiler a tiny little bit
when it was on well lanes rollers the front spoiler was resting on the floor when they dropped the platforms
never actualy had it catching on a speed ramp or such to be honest and theres ramps in my street lol, i was always warey of multi story parking tho, its when you go up and you have the front wheels on the top level while the rears are still on the ramp, i cringed a few times there
does look awsome tho, i was going to lower it further for the NBO2 but the lads reckoned i wouldnt be able to get it on the field

Hi yep thats me. Got JIC Magic coilovers and 17inch speedlines. I have it set quite low, the front and rear tyres are just tucked in the arches.
Lowered around 100-110mm all round and rides on 215\40's. Coilovers have adjustable lower brackets so no sacrifice in suspension travel and doesn't catch or rub.

Thanks, i was sort of lucky and paid £300 for them (bit of a gamble really) on ebay. My local mechanic fitted them for £50! I've known him for years thats why so cheap. Then went Power Engineering to get geometry done for £60.
That should have been the end of it but...
Then got some slightly softer springs for them from Demon Tweeks as they were rock hard and girlfirend refused to ride in the car anymore. Had them fitted at P.E. and had geometry done again. They then discovered that rear shocks aren't working too efficiently and will need to be rebuilt. I'm gonna get that done soon, then its all sorted!

215/35/18's on Tein Type HA coilovers. Wound down just enough so that I don't scuff the rears on the arches over bumps
