I think it looks great...................on a blob eye but I honestly think the standard one keeps the subtle looking front that the classics were born with but saying that if i see it in the flesh it may be a different story, anyway its certaintly different

i like it, looks good although the wheels do belong on a corsa/nova but it still looks nice, i'd drive it with pride
dont get Scoobynetters who mock nova/corsa drivers as they are exactly the same, bit like the kettle calling the pot black.

New pcs
Hi all
As requested, some closer pics of the scoop. Im sorry if they arnt to good but im crap with the camera!
It was mounted with screws and sealed. Im not sure what the intercooler splitter is meant to do, nothing of any interest i should think, but i fitted it for style and to be individual.
Hope these help. Cleaning car tomorrow so may be better then.

It looks ok and good on you for being the first to make this scoop fit. Altho if it was in a different colour as in the whole car and the main supports or the vertical bars in side the scoop were black it might make it look a bit better.
Does it effect the road noise or the strength of the bonnet at speed as in does the bonnet flex with it fitted.

I know that on the motorway it flexed but i havent been on since the upgrade.
When i got it back, i did toy with the idea of taking the supports off but as i said it has grown on me by the day. If anything, the bonnet now seems heavier. I know it sounds silly to say since its had the scoop fitted it should be, but i feel it helps stop flex by some degree.

Jsti, car's FOOOOOOKing great must be the first classic with sti8 scoop on,the upright bit's will help the scoop not flexing(that's why subaru put them on) IMO i would leave them on or you could paint them black so they didn't stand out, top job

Thanks alot DJ
I will be posting some more close ups of it as requested. Was meant to do it today but the Doreen thought it would be a good idea to take a walk to the white horse monument in Wiltshire at the top of a mastive hill/ everest! If anyone knows where that is, they will know how much fun it was!!

Personally i dont think it works, its like old meets new in a bad way.
I think an original classic modd'd subtly with some choice additions looks far better.
IMO of course.

Johny, Looks Mighty Fine & Mighty large,
Question.
How does your alloy bonnet cope at high speed & even worse high speed & an oncoming bowling on artic lorry, Mine with the standard scoop looks like it's going to part company at the best of times
