I like the look of the silver mesh in the upper grille,infact I think I'm gonna change mine tomorrow
but the mesh in the lower air dam looks a little too agricultural for my taste,maybe the pics don't do it any justice tho

I have to agree, the top mesh looks nice but the bottom mesh I'm not so sure about.
Looks like a FMIC if you ask me...
And as for that small plate, highly illegal and you of all people should know better

Chr1st Nath, that would make me **** myself if it came up behind me !! As for the No. plate, correct me if I'm wrong, but legal font, correctly spaced, and with the appropriate border...same as mine, and not illegal (according to the letter of the law ????)

Lol, cheers for the honest feedback guys.
The mesh is a little 'bright' at the moment but as with the last car it will dull down slightly. It does look much better in the flesh and makes it look rather angry. At the very least it will stop me from shot blasting my radiator.

Undecided m8....the top mesh looks nice, just not sure on the lower one...as you say perhaps a bit bright at the mo, looks a bit "bling bling", thought about spraying it gold ?

In fairness I don't think the evening sun reflecting off the grille helped the pictures above much. I've just nipped outside and taken another picture under more normal light.

I think I like it - I certainly like the grille mesh. 
One thing that makes it look a little odd is that the grill mesh is set back and the lower mesh is flush with the front of the car. Maybe if the lower mesh was recessed a little too they may 'match' a bit better?
This may also be a reason why the bottom looks a bit brighter - the top has the shadows cast by the bodywork to make it a bit more subtle - but of course, this may only be due to it being a photo.

Nathan...yep the second pic does look better, but I think John might have a good point, its the fact that the top one is recessed whereas the bottom one is flush, if they were both the same it would look twice as good (or twice as bad 
)

Yep I see where you're coming from. On my old bug-eye I recessesd the lower mesh area myself as I wasn't convinced sitting flush, as it does above would look good. Fancied a change on this car and just holding it against the front of the car I liked it. Just taken it round a fellow Scoobys freinds house and he agreed it looks 'well hard' lol.
Comes as a kit together. You have to take your mesh off the O.E. grille and replace it with the new shiny stuff. A right pain in the **** it was too!!!
Now there's an idea, when you get a motorist in the way dawdling along you can push them along faster Definitely gold for those though
