Many thanks to Paul from performanceparts4u.com, got my lights detangoed today. Looks great, and highly recommended to anyone.

Does this involve putting the front lights in the oven or is there an easier way to do this now?
Looks very nice by the way.

You could use a heat gun ,but putting the lights in the oven is the best way

I oven'd mine on saturday- no problem as long as you keep the heat down (and don't let the wife catch you or it'll be men in white coats....)

basically take the lights out of the car
strip them down remove everything including the small screws
put them in the oven to melt the sealant holding the two parts together
prise them apart
remove the orange wedge
reheat them to melt the the sealant again then put them together
add extra sealant as required
screw two halfs back together add all the ancilliaries then put them back in the car

SIMPLE

I found the temp for chicken and beef, but the missus dont know anything about impreza headlights!

this looks v nice, gotta try that one - what sort of temp should the oven be and for how long? (sounds like a chick question!) do you need orange bulbs? (or are they orange already?)

cheers

Feel free to post pics if they are of my car (please remove reg no. tho.)

If you got big versions would you be kind enough to mail them? I'd like to have a record of my ongoing mods.
