Were these taken near cholderton.... If so....... 'get off my land'.

Only joking

In a previous life I had 3 Pug 205 Gtis a 1.6 and 2 1.9s. Total joy to own but never got to the Ring.

Up early this morning to sample some stuff at Thruxton. I got to thrash a 2 day old 911 Turbo. Loads of low down grunt and not as dramatic as I expected but very rapid. Even so, carving around boxters, AMG SLKs and F355 and 360s was good fun.

There was even a Lamborghini Murcielago there, which was only 2 weeks old. Chap siting in the passenger seat was the owner. Poor sod looked terrified all day.
Best bit of the day was hooning about in a 8 year old Formula Renault with about 130bhp and limited to about 4600rpm......Hard work but a good experience.

Still good to get in the Subaru though. Never thought that a wagon would come with more of a rush than a 911 turbo!
