I'm just not sure about who was wearing the trainers. When i went back to the car the body had gone. Still i've never been any good at reversing....

If its not a stupid question once it's been serviced will it be ok to use all the revs or should i still be using it gently?

I've forgotten what i did when i had the WRX.

Chris

They didn't tell me to bring it in carefully but I have heard some people on here saying about doing it.
I just had fun yesterday as I have been waiting so long for that 1000miles to be over on top of the wait for the car.

Anyone tell me the answer to the 'what if question', the delivery of my car was out of sync with my 2 weeks hols plans, as this was when I was going to do my 1k. Did'nt happen, had the car now 5 weeks, was a good boy for 3 but week 4 my brain did not engage and I had a week letting more out than I should. Week 5 back to norm with circa 500 miles still to do. ( Walk to work , work late etc with recent weekends taken up with the other half, agreement when I ordered the Car !!) I've to control myself. Anyway I have gone over the 4rpm ? asked someone whos got STIPPP he said stuff the limit, as the the engine needs to get really hot for the seals to bed in. Lost me, any help?

I have managed to stick to the 4000 rpm limit, i think setting the buzzer on the rev counter helped!

I'm lucky with my other half though MillieWR1, she TOLD me to buy it, so running in hasn't been a problem. In fact we seem to have been out in it most evenings.

Set the rev limit at 4500 rpm which is the fig that the dealer told me, the buzzer was going off but I did not respond !! my fault. I really hope this will not be a problem after speking with Mike Wood, however I will be aiming to keep the rmp well within for the rest of the miles. Have a PSI date unit so I know what the dealer will see. Got it as I had read that you can add to it, ie launch control, which is where Mike Wood from Prodrive, told me that some figs ie EVO mag do not match prodrive figs, as the test drivers were not lauching the car correctly.

Had STI PPP ex demo told her that I was happy, had it 10 months then put order in for WR1, she needs some TLC to recover.

Any other WR1 owners going to the Rally Day ( other than Clive & Iain )
