Bug gone, blob arrived!!
My bugeye went back on the 1st September , but the new blobeye took its place
The car was standard when i picked it up at 9.30 am, by 1pm it looked like this :-
Got to get round to removing the pea shooters and resulting mouse fart, and fitting the full decat and group N box currently sitting in the garage!
Eibachs next on the shopping list

Wheels are BK238's, recoated in dark anthracite with a metallic flake. They "twinkle" when they are clean and its sunny (rare combination!!). The prodrive centre caps just clipped straight in!

cheers guys!
Saramorm is right, it is a Lester front splitter, as is the grill. Prodrive/subaru front stone deflectors. The spoiler is a Morrette item and is the same spoiler that those special GX sport bugeyes were supplied from the dealers. It uses the same holes in the boot as the standard low level ironing board.
I bought the brand new sti seats and door cards from prodrive and sold the standard set. The Blob eye WRX seats were the one thing putting me off buyin it.
I know the decat warantee worry, but i did it to my last car and can always put the standard system back on.

really nice. Doesn't replacing the seats have any insurance/warranty implications, as the WRX has seat airbags? Otherwise I'd have them in in a flash!
Very nice choice of front lip too :P

The (non) fitting kit wasn't brilliant, i had to cut and solder the brake light wires and cut the the bolts down that hold the 2 pieces togethre as they were too long

If you find a nice rear skirt, post on here (probably styling the best place). Or even if its just a shortlist, we can all have a mull over.

I got the Lester bits from ets racing (www.ets-racing.co.uk), great service and best price by far!!!
The guy selling the spoilers was fine, very quick delivery, good communication and well packed (original Morette box unopened)

Maybe a stupid question, but why didn't you buy an STi ?
Surely the money you have already spent and will be spending you could have put towards a standard STi ?
Or am I missing something..
Love those wheels, much better than the OEM.

I have similar mods to austen, and I didn't buy an STI because it was quite a bit more money, and was too harsh a ride for a family car. WRX was the best option for me as a car, but didn't have the look that I wanted.
Most of the cosmetic mods (not including wheels which would be extra on an STI as well) come to less than £1k.
